How to enable browser notifications

A browser notification, also known as a web push notification, is a small push message you receive in the top-right of your desktop or mobile browser. 

Browser notifications allow you to receive important updates on your items and auctions within your web browser, even if LiveAuctioneers.com is not open.

How to turn on browser notifications

  1. Log into your LiveAuctioneers account.
  2. Click on the Notifications icon.
  3. Click either on Yes, Update Me or Enable Browser Notifications
  4. Click Allow when your browser prompts you to allow www.liveauctioneers.com to show notifications

How to turn on allow notifications when your browser is blocking them

If you're not able to enable browser notifications, your browser preferences are set to block notifications from liveauctioneers.com.

To modify your browser preferences to allow notifications:

Google Chrome

  1. Click the lock icon next to liveauctioneers.com in the address bar
  2. Select "Allow" next to the Notifications option

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Click the lock icon next to liveauctioneers.com in the address bar
  2. Click x to clear the "Blocked" status on the Send Notifications option

Safari

  1. Choose Safari > Preferences, click Websites, then click Notifications.
  2. Find www.liveauctioneers.com in the list, then select Allow.
