Why do I have a bid limit? How can I increase it?

Auction houses have the ability to limit the total value of items you're able to win in a given catalog. Bid limits are usually placed when a bidder is new to the LiveAuctioneers platform (and has little or no bidding history) or a new bidder to that Auction House’s auctions. Each Auction house manages their own bid limit rules. You can see if the auction house gave you a bid limit on the auction page and on the item page.

If you’d like to increase your bid limit, please contact the auction house directly.  You can do this by clicking on the "ASK A QUESTION" link on any of their listings.
