Ratings and reviews
When can I leave a review?
If you won items at auction, you’ll receive a “Rate Your Experience” email three weeks after an auction ends. You can also leave a review by clicking “Rate Your Experience” on your Won Items page.
How do I leave a great review?
Your review makes a difference for millions of LiveAuctioneers bidders who use ratings & reviews to guide their purchases. Follow these guidelines so your review is helpful for other buyers:
- Truthfully share what went well and what could have been better so your review is balanced.
- Had an issue? Before leaving a review, contact the auction house or the LiveAuctioneers Support Team to work out the issue first.
- To ensure your review is published, avoid including personal information and inappropriate content, including:
- Last names
- Phone numbers
- Email addresses
- Tracking numbers
How can I edit a review?
Winning bidders can request edits to their reviews up to 30 days after leaving a review by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org from the email address associated with your LiveAuctioneers account. Edit requests may take 1-2 days to process.
What will appear online when I leave a review?
Your first name, city, and state will appear next to your public review. The review will only display stars for “Overall Rating”.
What will the auction house see what I leave a review?
The auction house will see your first name, last name, public review, private feedback, and overall rating. The auction house has the ability to respond to your public review publicly, and your private review privately. In either case, you’ll receive an email if the auction house responds to your review.
How will LiveAuctioneers use my review?
LiveAuctioneers uses your review to calculate every auction house’s Rating using our custom algorithm. Ratings determine whether auction houses are Top Rated, and are calculated in real-time.
