LIVEAUCTIONEERS MEMBERS PROGRAM TERMS & CONDITIONS
If you participate in the Members Program for your LiveAuctioneers Account, you accept the following Members Program Terms and Conditions (“Terms and Conditions”):
Qualifying: The Members program applies when you make a purchase on LiveAuctioneers using your LiveAuctioneers Account and you meet these requirements: (1) you have an active Membership; (2) you are a legal resident of the United States; (3) you agree to the LiveAuctioneers Terms and Conditions of Use; (4) your LiveAuctioneers Account is open, and (5) your LiveAuctioneers Account is in good standing. Purchases not completed on LiveAuctioneers, including purchases made directly with the auction house, are not eligible for Members benefits. Your Membership will become active at the time of joining the LiveAuctioneers Members Program and its benefits may be applied immediately to any purchase made after you become a Member.
Member benefits and rewards are as follows:
VIP membership is invoiced annually in advance. No VIP membership refunds are permitted after enrollment.
Rewards: Eligible purchases made on LiveAuctioneers and posted between January 1 and December 31 in each year earn LiveAuctioneers Reward points, reduced by any items returned for refund or credit. LiveAuctioneers Rewards members receive their LiveAuctioneers Rewards notice for each calendar year via mail or email during the following March. Your LiveAuctioneers Reward is based on the total hammer value of purchases made on the LiveAuctioneers website or LiveAuctioneers mobile app, which exclude buyer’s premium, membership fee, postage, shipping charges, exchanges, sales tax. Eligible members accrue 1 point for every dollar spent on LiveAuctioneers and can redeem a Reward of $100 for every 15,000 points accrued (Enthusiast Rewards Members) or 10,000 points accrued (VIP Rewards Members). There is no limit to the number of points you can earn in a calendar year for an account. Rewards will only be issued in $100 increments. Points earned but not used towards the issuance of a Reward will expire 12 months after your last purchase if there has been no purchase activity on your Account. If you have more than one Account, you cannot transfer or combine points between Accounts. For Members Program benefits to apply to a particular purchase, your Membership must be active at the time of purchase.
You will need to provide us your bank account details to receive a Reward. We will ask you to provide these details via a secure method should you qualify for a Reward.
General Terms for Using Rewards: You cannot combine your benefits with the benefits accrued by any other Rewards program participant. Rewards cannot be used retroactively for prior purchases. We are not responsible for lost or stolen Rewards.
LiveAuctioneers will determine the rate at which Rewards are earned and the rate may change from time to time. LiveAuctioneers will strive to give notice prior to changing the rate and other benefits of the Members Program, but rates and benefits are subject to change without prior notice.
Shipping Rebate: VIP Rewards Members earn a 10% shipping rebate when shipping is arranged through LiveAuctioneers, excluding purchases returned for refund or credit. All eligible shipping orders placed through LiveAuctioneers while your VIP Rewards Membership is live will qualify for a 10% rebate.
Purchase Protection: In the rare event an item you purchase via LiveAuctioneers is not as described, does not arrive or arrives damaged, we will help you find a solution, including receiving a refund of up to $10,000 of total hammer value. To qualify for LiveAuctioneers Purchase Protection, Members must:
- Complete the entire purchase through LiveAuctioneers checkout. Purchases made by paying the auction house directly (partially or in full), are not eligible.
- Ship using LiveAuctioneers in order to qualify for protection in the event an item is not received or is damaged during transit.
- Report issues within the following timeframes:
- Items not as described must be reported within 7 business days of delivery.
- Items not received must be reported within 2 business days of expected delivery date.
- Items damaged during transit must be reported within 2 business days of delivery.
- Provide requested photographic evidence of the issue (including the item(s) and original packaging).
- Keep all packaging in the event of an insurance claim.
Removal from or Modification/Termination of Members Program: We reserve the right to remove any person from the Members Program in the event of non-payment of invoices or fraud or abuse in connection with this Program. We reserve the right to change or terminate the Members Program at any time and in any manner without notice.
The Members Program is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
