Some Auction houses offer Autopay to help bidders more easily pay for items.
Autopay by LiveAuctioneers charges a bidder's card on file for the balance on their invoice either instantly, 24 hours or 3 days after the invoice is sent (depending on the terms of the Auction) and assuming the bidder hasn't made alternative arrangements with the Auction House.
Auctions that use Autopay will state so in their Terms & Conditions, and in the absentee bid box. When bidders win items from auctions using Autopay, they'll receive emails noting exactly when the card will be charged, and for how much.
If the seller allows for payment outside of LiveAuctioneers and you have already arranged it with the Auction House, ensure that your LiveAuctioneers invoice is updated to avoid double charges.
**This is solely at the discretion of the seller.
Autopay and Shipping
In some circumstances, shipping costs will be collected through Autopay. This may include costs for shipping via LiveAuctioneers or shipping made available by the auction house. Winning bidders may modify their shipping method during manual checkout before Autopay (24 and 72 hour) runs at its scheduled time.
To check whether an auction purchase included shipping, visit My Account > Won Items > View Order Confirmation and reference the Shipping Method and Order Summary sections. If you have any questions or require assistance regarding your shipping payment, please email us at packaging@liveauctioneers.com.
